"Go Ye Means Go Me"

The Benevolence Ministry at the South Yukon Church of Christ (SYCoC) is responsible for wisely managing God’s funds and caring for His people. This form is designed to help us comprehend your circumstances and evaluate our resources to potentially offer assistance. Please note that filling out this application does not ensure financial aid. Our decisions align with biblical teachings and guidance from the Holy Spirit. We prioritize addressing both your spiritual and physical needs.

Area Served: The SYCoC benevolence program will support requests for financial aide originating from the following counties only: Canadian, Oklahoma and Grady.

  • The primary objective of the benevolence ministry of SYCoC is to assist those in emergency need of assistance.

  • All acts of kindness are intended to support the recipient in resolving their own problems, rather than simply rescuing them without any effort on their part.

  • Payments for all benevolence checks will be issued to the debtor for bills (e.g. landlord, electric company). Very exceptionally will the payment be made to the recipient of the financial aid. Cash payments are not provided.

  • Benevolence requests need to be reviewed by the benevolence team. Prior to the processing stage, all applications must include a signed authorization for the release of information. SYCoC will communicate the team’s decision to the applicant once it has been reached.

  • Each case is treated with utmost confidentiality. Failure to uphold this may lead to disqualification of any current or future requests.

  • If you are employed, proof of income is necessary. A check stub containing employer contact details is suitable.

  • Please include current copies of bills with your request, as we will not proceed without them.

"Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"

Matthew 25:37-40 (NIV)
